This year, the Sierra Madre City Council adopted Resolution No. 19-13 which applies the city-wide overnight parking regulations to the City’s public parking lots. Overnight parking will now require a permit as it does on City streets. There will continue to be no permit or fees required for morning, afternoon, and evening use.

The affected parking lots are: South Baldwin Public Parking Lot, Mariposa Public Parking Lot, Auburn Public Parking Lot, and East Montecito Public Parking Lot

In addition to security considerations, the new regulations are expected to increase the equitability of parking availability and increase the parking options for those who intend to shop in Sierra Madre’s commercial district.

A permit is required to park on a public parking lot between the hours of 2:00am and 5:00am. There is a 72-hour maximum as well as a two ton maximum on each vehicle.

Permits may be acquired from the City’s website by clicking this link.
