Tree Services
Trimming
In
an effort to consistently maintain the City of Sierra Madre's
tree-lined streets the Public Works Department provides tree trimming
on a rotating schedule. The tree trimming schedule is based on a
citywide grid in which each grid is trimmed once every seven years. The
tree trimming is performed on a contract basis by West Coast Arborists.
All removal requests for protected trees must be applied for at City
Hall. Applications for tree removal must be received at least two weeks
in advance of the next Commission meeting. For more details about the
trees which are protected in Sierra Madre or the application process
please call Public Works at (626) 355-7135 or drop by City Hall during normal open hours.
