Sierra Madre City Council Selects New Mayor and Mayor Pro-Tem
The City of Sierra Madre is pleased to announce that Gene Goss will serve as the City’s new mayor. The former mayor pro-tem was selected by fellow Sierra Madre Council members at a reorganization meeting held on April 26, 2016. The meeting also appointed new Pro-Tem Mayor Rachelle Arizmendi. The pair will serve in their respective roles for a period of one year.
Public officials elected in the April 12th election were also sworn into office at the meeting, including newly elected City Clerk Melinda Carrillo and City Treasurer Mike Amerio. Also sworn in were council members John Capoccia and John Harabedian; each will be serving a second four-year term in office.
